Kia Ora and Talofa, 

I am Josephine, however feel free to call me Jo.      I am a proud Kiwi of Samoan and Maori descent who has made the big jump across the Tasman Sea.  

I am passionate about people! I love meeting new people from all walks of life and hearing their life stories. I believe Landing Spot is a great place for me to incorporate my health background and passion for people to support them live their best life. 

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling, music and staying active.

I’m Maddie! Originally from Sydney, I’ve traded the big city for the laid-back charm of Darwin, and I love it.

I’m all about connections and conversations. I love chatting with people and really getting to know them.
Here at Landing spot, I’m excited to merge my love for learning and my care for people’s wellbeing.

When I’m not at work you’ll find me soaking up the sun with my family and friends, exploring new places, listening to new music or hiding behind a book!

Rebecca
Counsellor, Early Childhood Professional and Positive Behaviour Practitioner

Hi,

My name is Rebecca, but feel free to call me Bec. I am a Counsellor and Early Childhood Professional based in Hervey Bay, QLD.  I studied a Bachelor of Education and worked in primary and special education settings for 9 years before going on to complete a Masters of Education in Guidance and Counselling through the University of Southern Queensland in 2022.

I have a particular interest in being able to help children build and maintain meaningful connections with others, whether that be peers, family members or members of the community in general. Along with a passion for helping people understand Autism Spectrum Disorder, particularly in the way it presents in females.

In my spare time you will find me hanging out with my 2 beautiful (neurodiverse) children, spending time with family and friends, listening to music and baking. I am known for my brownies!

Speech therapist - Team Lead

Hello,

My name is Erin. I am a Speech Pathologist based in Hervey Bay, Queensland. I grew up on the Gold Coast QLD, where I studied a Bachelor of Psychological Science and Master of Speech Pathology at Griffith University.

For the last two years, I have been working as a Speech Pathologist with NDIS participants of all ages. I have a particular passion for supporting individuals with complex communication needs through assistive technology.

In my spare time, you will find me playing guitar and banjo, walking my beautiful golden retriever and labradoodle, and riding my handcycle along the beachfront.   

Khalsom
Occupational therapist - Team Lead

Hello from Melbourne!

My name is Khalsom and I am a neurodivergent Occupational Therapist. I have interest and experience in cognitive remediation, social cognition, sensory profiles, and the co-occurrence of mental health conditions with autism, ADHD, trauma, and chronic physical illness or pain. I have delivered and evaluated programs, training, led projects, provided services under NDIS, created resources and am a licensed Mental Health First Aid instructor. Prior to being an Occupational Therapist, I worked as a teacher for children with autism, a playgroup facilitator and a tutor.

I value being a mother and an Occupational Therapist. I enjoy quality time with my family and friends, going to the theatre, playing games, dancing, and learning.

My dedication springs from a deeply held belief in fostering a society where equity and inclusion pave the way for individuals to engage in meaningful occupations and cultivate healthy relationships. I am committed to providing affirming services and believe everyone deserves a fulfilling quality of life regardless of their challenges or diagnoses.

My name is Ashleigh, and my pronouns are she/her.

I am a Speech Therapist living on Darumbal Country in Queensland with my husband and our cat and dog. I studied a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at Central Queensland University and have worked regionally in the private practice and disability space since graduating in 2018.

I am very passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming supports for neurodivergent kids, teens, young adults, and families. I openly identify as being neurodivergent, disabled, and a spoonie, and am more than happy to share my lived experience with clients and families.

In my spare time, you will often find me searching surrounding cafes for the perfect skinny latte, working on an embroidery project, watching my favourite tv shows, or playing Nintendo switch.

My name is Sarah and I am a Speech Pathologist based in Christchurch, NZ.

I have over 10 years experience and I’m passionate about supporting people to improve their communication skills and enhance their quality of life. I believe a warm and supportive environment is important for Speech Therapy, and I strive to provide practical advice that fits in with you.

After completing my Bachelor at Canterbury University, I went on to gain a Masters in Specialist Teaching Autism (with Distinction). I’m particularly passionate about supporting people with complex communication needs and using communication supports, such as visuals or assistive technology.

In my spare time, you can find me catching up with friends over coffee, going on adventures with my family and cavoodle, and listening to my favourite podcasts.

My name is Georgia and I am a Speech Language Pathologist based in Ōtautahi, Aotearoa (Christchurch, New Zealand).

I have over 5 years experience working with all ages and a variety of conditions in an assistive technology setting. I love helping children, adults and their families achieve the best possible communication outcomes. I take pride in delivering a holistic, person-led service.

On top of my passion for speech pathology, I love spending time with my family, looking after my vegetable garden, trying new foods, and walking my two noisy dogs.

Hi,

I’m Claudia, an Occupational Therapist with a passion for helping people of all ages and abilities. I’ve worked in this field for over 5 years and have experience in both the acute hospital setting and community paediatrics.

I completed my double degree at La Trobe Unitversity in Melboune, and earned a Bachelor of Applied Science followed by a Masters in Occupational Therapy.

Last year, I made the move to London and have continued my work as an Occupational Therapist. I have a particular interest in children’s sensory needs, their sensory processing and implementing strategies that help my client function in their daily lives.

When I’m not working, I enjoy running, trying new foods, exploring new places(especially countries) and hanging out with friends.

Hello,

My name is Victoria but I’m usually known as Tori. I have been an occupational therapist for 4 years. I undertook my masters at Monash University in Melbourne and from there worked in regional South Australia before making the move to London where I reside now!   

My work experience has been varied, however I have a particular interest and extensive knowledge in autism spectrum disorder and sensory integration techniques and practices.   

In my spare time I play rugby, do dog walking, play board games, and explore the hidden gems of London including live music.

Hello,

My name is Laura! I have been working with people with disabilities for the past 9 years, having had 3 years’ experience as a Disability Support Worker and working the past 6 years as an Occupational Therapist.  

I undertook my Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the University of Newcastle and shortly after moved to Melbourne. I am now based in London and bring a range of experience working with teenagers, young adults and adults living with congenital or newly diagnosed disabilities following injury or illness.  

In my spare time, I love being outdoors and keeping active including running marathons and long-distance swimming. I also love to travel and experience new cultures and landscapes.
